Where Do We Go From Here?
I have been discussing the creation of a new network with interested parties, to continue the mission I started with VoR. There is much to consider and I require the help of qualified individuals who would work for free to further a worthy goal.
It is a monumental task, but one that is not impossible. The good news: It’s not the first time I have been down that road, so I know many of the pitfalls that lay ahead.
Regardless of the outcome of my new network, I do know this: Peter Schaenk flies solo from now on. If I work with others on a network, it will be my own network. I have seen too many noble ideas fall to the wayside because of the timidity and bad judgment of those that wish to lead for the sake of holding the mantle of power. A leopard can’t change his spots and a Webmaster can’t be a network head. It takes experience in the broadcasting field to run a radio network. It’s more than having a snazzy web site and an infatuation with one’s ego.
It takes life experience. Something that is taken for granted in this age of Internet college degrees. Life experience; something you cannot earn in college. You must work in your chosen field for years to gain this type of credibility.
